Zamakan - الزمكان
The "Zamakan Concert" is a visual music event showcasing the album "Nights of Khartoum Exhibition," produced by Gomart, with music production by Mohammed Abdelrahim and lyrics and vocals by Rida Mekawi. I worked on the visual production for both the album and the concert. The "Nights of Khartoum" album is a musical production that embodies Sudanese melodies deeply ingrained in our memories, transporting us back to Khartoum no matter the distance. Through the album, we express our longing for life in Khartoum, featuring incredibly beautiful songs from the sixties and seventies that were overshadowed by time due to lack of attention and documentation, despite their significant artistic contribution to Sudanese music history.
